Life has brought her beautiful moments and belonging but it has also brought profound loss and trauma.

The hardships slowed her down at times, but they never stopped her.

She began making candles at 18 years old, melting down old candles under her kitchen sink more than 25 years ago.

What started as something simple grew into something sacred. Working with wax has become therapeutic quieting her mind and giving her space to process. Craftsmanship became healing long before she realized she would need it so deeply.

Amanda’s journey as a mother includes both raising her children and carrying the unimaginable loss of her first child.

That loss changed her forever and strengthened her faith in ways she never expected.

Two years ago, she became an amputee and faced another moment where she wondered if she would ever pour candles again.

But she is a God-fearing woman who believes her life has been spared more than once for a purpose.

Through faith, resilience, and grace, she returned to the craft that has always steadied her.

Today, Amanda proudly owns and operates Amandles’ Candles LLC with a renewed vision. Her mission is bigger than candles.

In her first year of business, she had already committed a major percentage of sales toward giving back, because she believes her work should serve others.

She sees this season of her life as a calling—to do God’s work, support her community, and use her story to bring light into dark places.

Every candle she pours carries healing, faith, and the quiet strength of a woman who refuses to give up.
